Policies and Agreements

I understand the services I receive are for the purposes of relaxation, relief of muscular tension, and/or overall well-being. I understand and agree to the following:

1. I give permission to receive services. The purpose is therapeutic and sexual activity of any kind is not offered, permitted, or implied.
2. I will communicate openly about comfort level, pressure, and draping before and during the session.
3. I understand this is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, medications, or medical treatment. The practitioner does not diagnose medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries, nor do we prescribe medication. I have clearance from my physician or medical provider to receive services.
4. I understand the risks associated with the services I am seeking, including but not limited to: superficial bruising, burns/burning, short-term muscle soreness, and/or exacerbation of previous or undiscovered injuries. I agree to release Prism OC Massage and its staff from all liability concerning these or any injury or harm that may occur during my session.
5. I understand the importance of informing my therapist of all medical conditions I have and medications I am taking, and to let the therapist know about any changes to my health before future sessions.
6. If I behave inappropriately, the session will end immediately with no refund, and I may be barred from future appointments.
7. I understand the practitioner may offer sessions with optional nudity (typically not for the first session), but all touch will remain within professional, non-sexual boundaries. The terms will be discussed and agreed upon with the therapist.
8. I release and hold harmless Prism OC Massage and its owners and employees from any liability for injury or harm that may result from this session, except in cases of gross negligence or misconduct.

Our goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable and respected during the session. The session involves the therapist using their hands and body to conduct their work. Unless directed, I understand that I will not touch the therapist. I will be given a warning if this occurs, but repeated warnings may result in termination of the session without a refund.

Appointment time slots (including the time required to prepare the studio for your arrival and clean the studio after your session) are entirely dedicated to you. When you cancel or reschedule your session without sufficient notice or do not show for your appointment, it may not be possible for us to find another client seeking services during the time slot we have set aside for you. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty, provided you do so greater than 24 hours prior to your appointment start time. A new service must be booked within 30 days to use the same deposit.

Clients who request to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment start time or who do not arrive within 15 minutes of the start time of their appointment will be charged a Cancellation Fee equal to 100% of the price of the services scheduled (exclusive of any discounts).

To ensure our Cancellation Policy is administered without bias, we will neither ask nor do we request the reason for your need to cancel. Our Cancellation Policy is applied to all scenarios, regardless of the reason for your need to cancel.

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit that will go toward your session. Your appointment will not be confirmed until you make a deposit.

Payments for in-studio services are due at the start of the service, so you can relax and enjoy yourself when your session is over. Payments for outcall services will be expected 24 hours prior to the outcall appointment time.

What you see is what you pay. As a small business owner, a gratuity for exceptional service is always welcome, but never expected. It is only expected that you pay the price agreed to prior to the start of the massage.

All services, fees, and items sold by Prism OC Massage are provided as-is, without warranty, and are neither refundable nor returnable.

While Prism OC Massage specializes in providing services to men of the LGBTQIA+ community, we are committed to working with all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, body type, or state of health.

When seeking services from Prism OC Massage, you will be required to provide a brief history of your health. You agree to update the therapist of any changes to your health as they occur.

Clients with a fever, contagious condition, or in a state of health that is incongruent with receiving services from Prism OC Massage (including but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol or other drugs) will not be seen and should seek the services of a licensed healthcare professional for the treatment of their conditions prior to rescheduling.

Clients are asked to arrive for their appointments having just showered and are advised to not eat heavy meals two hours prior to their arrival time. A shower is available before/after your services (based on bookings). Your use of the shower facilities may be included in your session time.

Clients are encouraged to dress down to their own comfort level, and will be draped with a sheet or towel based on their comfort, at all times during the session.

Clients reserve the right to discontinue their session at any time, for any reason, however, Prism OC Massage does not pro-rate its fees based on the actual length of your session.

The services provided during your session are intended to be therapeutic, relaxing, and restorative. Clients are asked to maintain levels of decorum consistent with the services being provided during the session. Prism OC Massage providers may not be licensed, registered, and/or certified to provide massage in all localities and jurisdictions. By booking services or purchasing items from Prism OC Massage, you understand and accept that all offerings are provided "for entertainment purposes only." You also understand and agree that all services and items for sale are provided without warranty or obligation by Prism OC Massage and the client assumes all risks, injuries, losses, etc. associated with seeking and obtaining services from Prism OC Massage.

Prism OC Massage believes that each business transaction begin with a booking and ends at the completion or cancellation of your booked services. Because of this, you are highly encouraged to review the content of this agreement prior to each transaction you have with Prism OC Massage.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or related to my session or this agreement will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration. The arbitration will be conducted in the county where the services were provided, in accordance with applicable state arbitration rules. All arbitration fees, legal costs, and expenses shall be paid by the client.

I acknowledge that all information you provide Prism OC Massage in written, verbal, or electronic forms is accurate and that any attempt or act of providing false or misleading information is a violation of these Terms and will nullify any agreement or business relationship with Prism OC Massage.
